Bentonville, Arkansas…Start of the Downtown water tank delayed one week. On Monday, June 24th, the City of Bentonville Water Utilities Department will begin renovation of the Downtown elevated water tank located at 220 NW 2nd Street. This project involves internal and external cleaning, rehabilitation, and repainting the entire structure.
During this project, the Water Utilities Department will be closing 14 parking spaces and 2 handicap parking spaces in the adjacent parking lot to provide construction equipment the space needed for staging and material storage.
Temporary handicap parking will be located in the NE corner of the parking lot as shown on the map to replace the permanent handicap stalls being used for construction staging.
Weather permitting, this project should be completed by August 10th.
