Bentonville, AR…Beginning July 8th, Lake Bentonville will close to the public as it undergoes a major renovation project.
Lake Bentonville Park, located at 210 SW I Street, will remain closed through spring 2020. During the time, extensive additions and improvements will be made to the public park. These additions include a new destination playground, pavilion, fishing opportunities, water recreation and paved parking lot. As part of the project, the current dam around Lake Bentonville will be removed allowing the size of the lake to expand beyond its current size. Boardwalks are being added around the lake for patrons to enjoy.
Bentonville Parks and Recreation apologizes for this inconvenience. However, we believe that this project will transform Lake Bentonville and the surrounding area, into one of the most attractive parks in northwest Arkansas.
