Bentonville, AR...Bentonville Parks and Recreation is proud to once again host the United States Specialty Sports Association Midwest National Fast Pitch Softball National Championship. The tournament begins Wednesday, July 17 with championship games scheduled for Saturday, July 20. This fast pitch softball tournament will feature 56 teams from 10 states. Three age groups will be represented in the tournament: 12U, 14U, and 16U. A tournament of this size has the potential to bring upwards of a $1 million economic impact to the area. Bentonville’s Memorial Park will serve as tournament headquarters.

Opening ceremonies for the tournament will take place Tuesday, July 16th at 6:00pm at Arvest Ballpark in Springdale. The opening ceremony will include a parade of teams, a VIP Experience for all USSSA fans and players, plus food and games. Official tournament play will begin Wednesday, July 17th and continue through Saturday, July 20th.
