AR…The City of Bentonville will hold a special election on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 to fill the open Ward 3, Position 1 council seat.
Interested parties must complete and file a petition with the County Clerk’s office (215 East Central Avenue – 2nd Floor), which requires the signatures of at least thirty (30) qualified electors (voters) of the city of Bentonville. The filing period opens on Friday, December 1, 2017, and closes at noon on Friday, December 22, 2017. Applicants must reside in ward 3 and be a registered voter. The boundaries for Ward 3 = south of West Central/SW 2nd St. to city limits & west of SW A St./S. Walton Blvd./S. Rainbow Rd. to city limits. The term will expire on December 31, 2018.
