The Annual Regional Development Conference is a partnership between the cities of Bentonville and Rogers.
Since 2004, each city had been holding separate development conferences. In 2009, the cities joined forces to
present a regional development conference offering an array of topics pertaining to building and development.
The conference consists of a morning session then breaks off into concurrent sessions. The keynote luncheon is
followed by several more concurrent sessions. Registration includes a conference packet, gift bag, breakfast,
keynote luncheon and refreshments.
Past keynote speakers have included Jonathan Barnett with the Arkansas Highway Commission. Session topics have
addressed streets and transportation, parks and recreation, floodplains, GIS and mapping, drainage, downtown
development, energy efficiency, and sustainability. Exhibitors from city departments, consultants, and vendors
provide additional informational materials.
