Physical Agility Tests All entry level fire fighters, whether paid or part-paid must successfully challenge
the department's physical agility test. The pictures show the curb walk, the hose drag, the hose roll lift, the
body drag, the Kaiser sled/sledge hammer event. In addition, prospective fire fighters must climb an aerial ladder
to the height of 35 feet, and complete the airpack crawl in a blacked-out facepiece while wearing full protective
gear including air pack.
