Change Maker Award Program

The Change Maker Award is a recognition program for properties, businesses, organizations and individuals that have contributed to the successful implementation of recent area plans, including the North Walton Boulevard Corridor Enhancement Plan and the SE Downtown Area Plan (Arts District and Market District).

 

Award recipients will receive a certificate of recognitions from the Mayor at a regularly scheduled City Council meeting and a yard sign recognizing the property/business as a Change Maker.

Eligible Entitites

   Property Owners

   Business Owners

   Organizations

  

Construction of any new commercial, multifamily or mixed use development

Major structural renovation or addition

New landscaping, signage, or paint

A business that chose to locate in a plan study area

Adding new employees or expanding marketing efforts

 

Nominations

Nominations can be made by submitting a Nomination Form to the Mayor's Office at 117 West Central Avenue in Bentonville or by email to mayor_assistant@bentonvillear.com.
