Program Description

Bentonville Parks and Recreation offers a recreational youth soccer program at Memorial Park for girls and boys ages three to sixteen. This program is part of a comprehensive approach to community recreation programming sponsored by Bentonville Parks and Recreation.

Our Department's youth sport programs are focused on participation, sportsmanship and skill development. The season begins with several practices, followed by two games per week.

All participants are randomly assigned to a team based on age. Volunteer coaches are screened and trained by Bentonville Parks and Recreation. Players who register for both the Fall and Spring seasons will remain on the same team for both seasons.

Please note that each date is tentative and is subject to change based on participation numbers and number of fields. Hopefully, this will allow you to schedule activities accordingly.

Parks and Recreation will work with other organizations such as softball and baseball to ensure conflicts are kept at an absolute minimum, allowing youth participants the opportunity to participate in multiple sports.

All practices and games will take place on the soccer fields at Memorial Park along John DeShields Blvd.

Little Kicksters Soccer

The Little Kicksters is an introductory program for children born between August 2008 and July 2009. Fall Little Kicksters is limited to the first 100 registrants and consists of activities, drills and fun games designed to introduce the fundamentals of soccer. Little Kicksters are not divided into teams during the Fall Season; the program is run by Kicksters Coordinators. During the Spring Season, Kicksters are divided into teams and begin playing regular soccer games.

Registration Information

Practices will be during the week in the evening and games will be on Saturday mornings.  All practices and games will take place on the soccer fields at Memorial Park along John DeShields Blvd.

NOTE:   If your child has never registered with Bentonville Parks & Recreation, please include a copy of their birth certificate with the registration form and payment.  If registering online you may either drop off the certificate, or fax to 479-271-5970.

Registration fees must be received at time of registration.  Once team assignments are made and uniforms are ordered, registration fees are NON-REFUNDABLE.  Uniforms include jersey, shorts, & socks. Players will be responsible for providing their own shoes & protective gear.

Leagues and Registration Fees:

• If you registered in the Fall, for both Fall & Spring seasons, you do not have to re-register for the Spring season and players will remain on the same team for Spring season as they played on in the fall.
• If you did not register in the fall to play both seasons, but wish to play in the spring, you will need to sign up for the spring season and will eligible to remain on the same team.
• If you are a new player and/or did not register to play in the Fall, but would like to sign up for Spring, you can register for the Spring season only. Duel season registrations only take place during Fall sign ups.
