Bentonville Parks & recreation softball program
Spring Schedule
Program Description
Bentonville Parks and Recreation offers a recreation youth softball program
for girls ages 4 (five) to 14 (eighteen).
This program is offered in cooperation with the Bentonville Youth Softball League (BYSL). Our
youth sport programs focuses on participation, sportsmanship
and skill development.
The season begins with several practices, followed by two games per week.,
which will include games that are played on Saturday.
All new
participants are assigned to a team through a coaches draft. Assessment
dates will be posted when they become available. Players
returning from the previous season who wish to remain on the same team, will be
allowed to do so if possible.
Volunteer coaches are screened and trained by Bentonville Parks and
Recreation.
Anyone interested in coaching, or assisting the coaching staff, is
required to complete a
Volunteer Application Form and a
Background Check
form.

Team registration: August 5 -
16, 2013. Registration must be done through the coach.
If you would like to play fall ball but
don't have a team, you must visit our Facebook page at
www.bentonvillesoftball.org/mb/, and post a message
on the message board. Coaches will be checking these message
boards and will be in touch with you as players are needed to complete their team.

Practices and games will be during the week, in the evening and on Saturdays. All practices and games will take place at
either Memorial or Phillips Park.

Costs for Multiple Children:
Two - $90
Three - $105 Four or more - Contact Parks and Recreation.
If the multiple children fee does not apply via the online registration, please
mail in or drop off your registration form with payment. (Applies to
Spring Registration only)
Registration fees must be received at time of registration. Once team
assignments are made and uniforms are ordered, registration fees are
NON-REFUNDABLE.
NOTE: If your child has never played softball or registered with Bentonville Parks & Recreation
or the Bentonville Youth Softball League,
please include a copy of proof of birth date (birth certificate, shot record,
passport). If registering online
