A customer that has had an account turned over to a collection agency, filed bankruptcy against a City of Bentonville utility account, or your final utility bill is more than 15 days past due, your deposit will be two times the above rate.

Deposits are maintained for at least twelve months and may be refunded for good payment history. Should you close your account, any security deposit is automatically applied to your final bill and if any credit exists it is refunded.
