Yardwaste Collection Service
Each resident will receive 1 - 90 gallon poly cart(s) which will hold the
equivalent of 4-6 bags of yard waste. The service will run April - November.
This
is a service provided by Allied Waste, separate from your household trash
service. Please contact Allied Waste with pricing questions.
The yard waste collected will be disposed of at the City of Bentonville Compost Facility, which also accepts yard
waste delivered to the site at no charge.Acceptable material is leaves,
grass, and small brush items less than 2" in diameter. To
avoid any damage to mechanical equipment please physically deliver
anything greater than 2" in diameter to the Compost facility verses
breaking down and combining with other yardwaste material; the facility will
dispose of the material at no expense to the customer (free service).
Also, please make sure
there is no trash in your yard waste container.
Containers containing unacceptable items, or unacceptable items that are put
out by, in side of, or on top of, yardwaste containers and/or trash cans may not be picked up.
