These programs offer an opportunity for people to get involved in their community in an effort to promote civic pride, appreciation and awareness. It is a partnership between the City and the community to keep the trail network and park system safe, free of trash, tree limbs and other debris, aesthetically pleasing and in the best condition possible. Participants are asked to volunteer a minimum of three times per year.
This program is a partnership between the City and the community to keep the city free of litter, one street at a time. Groups adopt a street 1/2 mile or more in length and agree to remove litter three (3) times per year.
Occasionally the Parks and Recreation staff at the Downtown Activity Center need volunteers to assist with office work such as sorting flyers and stuffing envelopes for mass mailings. To be added to the notification list of when assistance is needed please fill out the Volunteer Registration form.
We always need great volunteers to help with our Run Bentonville races, Square 2 Square Bike Ride, and other community events.
