The City of Bentonville is accepting applications from Bentonville residents interested in serving on either the Public Art Advisory Committee or the Tree and Landscape Advisory Committee. These are three-year terms beginning January 1, 2024, appointed by the Mayor and approved by City Council.
The Public Art Advisory Committee (PAAC) serves in an advisory capacity to the Mayor and City Council on policy matters pertaining to art on public property. Arts professionals, such as curators, visual artist, art critics, art historians, art collectors, art fabricators, architects, landscape architects, graphic artists, and art educators are encouraged to apply. The Tree & Landscape Committee serves in an advisory capacity to the Mayor and City Council on policy matters pertaining to tree preservation and are responsible for coordinating tree giveaways twice a year and selecting properties for Landscape of the Month awards. Applicants must live in the corporate limits of Bentonville, be a registered voter and able to attend regularly scheduled meetings and occasional special meetings and events.
