Purchasing Overview

Purchasing is responsible for assisting in and directing the purchase of supplies, acquiring of construction and professional services, overseeing policy and contract compliance, and other project management related activities for all City Departments in accordance with State statutes, City ordinances, the City's Purchasing Policy and proper purchasing procedures. Purchasing is also responsible for disposing of surplus City property. 

Duties

This division seeks to provide economic and timely purchases of goods and services for all City departments, as well as maintain contract compliance, through requests for proposals, requests for qualifications, bids, and quotes. 

No Gift Practice

Purchasing employees do not accept gifts from vendors. This includes paying for meals. Your assistance is appreciated.
