Bentonville, AR...Bentonville Parks & Recreation is pleased to invite the community to attend An Evening at Orchards Park on Thursday, July 4. In recognition of Independence Day, the annual Fourth of July event will include all the sights and sounds of a traditional, patriotic celebration. Two Story Radio and Arkansas Winds will kick off the fun with live music at 7:00pm, featuring a full playlist of classic hits and holiday favorites. The evening concludes with a fabulous fireworks show at approximately 9:30pm. To ensure prime viewing, the designated shoot site for this year’s fireworks display is Memorial Park Soccer Field #9. Please be respectful of signage and barricades surrounding the drop zone perimeter as safety remains a top priority.
The event is free to the public. There will be food trucks and concessions on site, selling summertime favorites like cotton candy, kettle corn, and snow cones. Guests are welcome to bring personal coolers, however alcoholic beverages are strictly prohibited. For anyone needing extra assistance or special parking accommodations, we have a dedicated parking lot and shuttle service available to the main staging area. It is recommended that eventgoers arrive early as some surrounding streets will be temporarily closed for the celebration. Orchards Park, a spacious public park – accessible and inclusive in design for all residents and visitors, is located at 1100 NE John DeShields Boulevard on the corner of J Street, across from the entrance to the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art.
Please note: No personal fireworks allowed. In the event of inclement weather, the fireworks show will be postponed until Friday, July 5th.
