The purpose of this meeting is to present and discuss proposed plans to improve the intersection of Highway 12 and Highway 279 in Bentonville, Arkansas. This will be an “open house” public involvement meeting, which means no formal presentations will be given. The city of Bentonville and Garver staff are here to answer questions and provide information.

The City of Bentonville, in cooperation with the Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) and the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), will conduct a Public Meeting to present and discuss proposed plans to improve the intersection of Highway 12 and Highway 279 in Bentonville, Arkansas.
The proposed intersection improvements include the construction of a two-lane roundabout with dual left turns, roadway approach improvements, drainage improvements, and sidewalk and shared-use path construction. Specifically, the design allows for more efficient traffic flow and reduces the need for lane changes within the roundabout.
This will be an “open house” meeting with no formal presentations. The public is invited to visit at any time during the scheduled hours to view exhibits, ask questions, and offer comments. Any publicity you can give this project is appreciated.
