Bentonville, AR… In keeping with Governor Asa Hutchinson’s closure of Arkansas School’s and recommendation to avoid public interaction to combat the spread of Covid-19, effective Monday, March 16, 2020 the City of Bentonville will close the Bentonville Public Library, Community Center and Downtown Activity Center to the public through March 30, 2020.
The book drops at the Library and the Bentonville Community Center are not available for use during the closure.
The library is extending the due date on all items currently checked out to April 6. Items that have due dates past April 6 will be due on their original due date. Late fees will not be assessed during this time.
This temporary schedule change will be continually evaluated as the situation develops. All other essential City operations will continue to be in service.
