Bentonville Public Art Advisory Committee and Bentonville Parks and Recreation are seeking proposals from artists to create a permanent piece of public art to be located in Phillips Park in Bentonville, Arkansas.

The Bentonville Youth Baseball Board has donated $20,000 for this project, titled “Youth Baseball: Coaches and Players.” The objective is to recognize and celebrate the legacy of the Bentonville Youth Baseball Board and the relationship between volunteer coaches and their players.

The artwork will be display in Phillips Park Baseball Complex, centrally located in Bentonville, Arkansas. This 50-acre park is currently undergoing a 17-million-dollar renovation which will include seven new baseball fields, new concessions building and restrooms, new parking, and more.

The complete Request for Proposals (RFP) is available on the City of Bentonville website: http://www.bentonvillear.com/464/Public-Art-Advisory-Committee. Proposals must be submitted online at http://www.bentonvillear.com/FormCenter/Planning-8/Public-Art-Proposal-70 by February 5, 2024 at midnight CST.
