Bentonville Parks and Recreation partners with 37 North Expeditions to host an Adventure League for adult teams that will put a twist on the fun activities of biking, trail running and paddling by making it a team sport similar to other recreational leagues. Grab your friends and join us for an 8-week series that combines biking, paddling and trekking on our soft/hard surface trails in scavenger hunt style. Each week teams will meet at a new location and given a new map that has that week’s course of checkpoints and compete to get as many as they can in the allotted time! Each week is a different “course”, or set of points, that may include all, or only some, by foot/bike or paddle. At the end of the 8-week league, the team with the most combined points will be declared the league winner!

  • Registration Opens - February 17, 2024
  • Registration Closes - March 17, 2024
  • Season Begins - April 4 - May 23, 2024
  • Teams will meet on a weekly basis for 8 weeks on Thursdays from 6:00pm-8:00pm.

League Fees - $300 per team (up to 8 on a roster)

- Each team can submit a roster of up to 8 people (18yrs or older).

- Teams can have a minimum of 3 teammates each week to avoid a “forfeit”, but they can have up to 6 each week; however, they all must remain within 50 yards of each other at all times.

- Each team must have at least one member of each gender competing each week.

- Each team will be awarded points on a weekly basis based on the number of checkpoints (CPs) retrieved each week.

- Tie breakers will come down to shortest cumulative time to retrieve checkpoints

  • 1st Place: Number of CPs retrieved + 5 points
  • 2nd Place: Number of CPs retrieved + 3 points
  • 3rd place: Number of CPs retrieved + 1 points
  • Minimum score for teams that arrive each week is 1. Teams that do not show, or “forfeit” will receive 0 points.
  • All teams will drop their lowest week score (including forfeits) from the scoring total.
  • The team with the most cumulative points over the course of 8 weeks will be the league champion.
