About the Planning Commission

The Planning Commission is comprised of seven citizens appointed by the Mayor and approved by City Council. They are responsible for:

  • Administering Zoning and Subdivision regulations.
  • Approving preliminary plats, large scale developments and conditional uses.
  • Making recommendations to City Council regarding rezonings and final plats.
