Mission
The Alternative Transportation Advisory Board serves as an advisor on all policy matters pertaining to trails and bikeway facilities. Board members are to work in the public interest and speak for the general community in matters regarding alternative transportation. It is the duty of the board members to promote and foster community involvement in alternative transportation infrastructure. The board shall stimulate and encourage communication with members of the community to ensure that programs, goals and objectives are consistent with community needs and desires. The board should focus a positive public attention on the trail and bikeway systems.
